Hello friends! It's Tuesday, and that means it's time for a new challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper. This week we have an awesome sketch for you to play along with. I love it so much I made two cards with it!
I couldn't wait to start playing with some of my new goodies from the Mama Elephant release party on Saturday. When I saw the sketch, I knew the elements from the Charmed stamp set would be perfect. With just a few small changes, I made one a Christmas card and one a birthday card.
For the Christmas card, I used some scraps of Snow Day paper and a sentiment from Jingle Greetings. I searched all my stamp sets for a little Santa hat the right size, and found it in the Santa's List stamp set.
A few enamel dots were all I needed to finish this one up.
The birthday card is much more feminine. I gave this birthday princess a little crown and some touches of pink. The stitched die cuts on the white panel of both cards are a new release from Mama Elephant, and I'm sorry but I don't know what they are called! The release goes live on October 15 so I'll find out then.
I wanted to give the pink areas some sparkle and shine, which I did with some Wink of Stella topped with Crystal Effects.
I'm entering the Christmas card into the Clean and Simple Christmas challenge at Simon Says Stamp, the birthday card into the Anything Goes challenge at Seize the Birthday, and both of them into the 30 Day Coloring Challenge at The Daily Marker.
