Merry Snowperson, MOJO414, CCC29, RRCB22, NBUS5

Hi there, Stampers! I've been  diligently trying to get a few Christmas Cards done each month and my stash is piling up nicely. I may wind up with more cards than I have friends, LOL! I had great fun making this card, thanks to a borrowed stamp set from my wonderful friend and neighbor. What's better than a neighbor who stamps?! I needed a stamp with a snowperson and believe it or not I do not own a single one. Don't worry, I'm on that!

I was able to play along with four challenges with this card. I started out with the sketch from Mojo Monday. Next comes the inspiration challenge at CASE-ing Christmas, which I'm playing along with for the first time. I was inspired by the cute snowman and shades of blue. At Retro Rubber, Anything Goes, but you must use stamps older than one year. This one dates back to 2001. I wasn't even stamping yet! Last but definately not least is the NBUS Challenge. I've never used my borrowed stamp set before, for sure. I hope that qualifies.

I also thought I'd mention that I'm not only Retro and NBUS, but also UFO today! My Un-Finished Object is the embossed background panel. When I ran it through the Big Shot, I was rushing and the pads weren't correctly lined up, so my embossing fades out on the bottom. It almost wound up in the trash a year ago, but I thought I'd save it. For this card I thought it would work nicely as it allowed me to stamp a sentiment at the bottom. Score!

  13. Cute snowman card!

I used to have a next door neighbor who stamped with me...(several times a week) But she moved...

But, fortunately, she now still travels to my house about once a week and stamps with me...and Yes, we use each others supplies all the time! (so I feel like I have twice the goodies available to me to use...)
