Hi friends! I can not believe that we are already up to the 13th challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper. This week is an easy one, a Happy Birthday theme. I've got lots of birthdays coming up this month so this is a perfect one for me.
This card is for my son's girlfriend. She has a cat named Bean and I tried to make this kitty look like hers. I realized while coloring this that black cats are hard to color! I need a little more practice for sure. The stamp set is Feline Better from My Favorite Things, and the balloon is from Birthday Bits by Simon Says Stamp. I also mixed it up with patterned paper and dies from Lawn Fawn.
I'm also playing along with a couple other challenges. Darnell is having her fifth NBUS Challenge and I had to play along. All the stamps including the sentiment inside are NBUS except for the little kitty. At Simon Says Stamp, the Monday Challenge is to Stamp and Die Cut or Punch.
The sentiment is on the inside of my card, where I also used up a little scrap of paper.
