Good Monday morning, friends! It was a very busy weekend at my house. Saturday night we had lots of company for dinner as it was my MIL's 92nd birthday. She is in very good health overall and shows no signs of slowing down, God bless her. Clearly this wasn't her card, but was for my BIL who also had a 60th birthday celebration this weekend. There are lots of birthdays in my family this month, and next month, too!
I love making CAS guy cards, and I thought the black and vanilla color scheme was elegant for the occasion. For my layout, I thought the one at Freshly Made Sketches would be perfect. I'm also playing along with Anything Goes at Seize the Birthday.
To make my custom sentiment, first I stamped the birthday greeting from the Happy Birthday Everyone stamp set. The numbers are from the Recollection ABC's, and the "th" was stamped from the SU Designer Typeset Alphabet. Everything was heat embossed for a little shine.
