CAS Thankful Mice, PP263

Greetings, friends! Today at The Paper Players, Laurie has a great CAS challenge for us, to Create a Fall Scene. I don't know about you but I am ready for Fall and some cooler weather. Love the inspiration photo, too. Makes me want to visit the pumpkin farm!

With those pumpkins in mind, I created this little scene using a couple of brand new-to-me stamp sets from Lawn Fawn. Aren't those little mice the cutest?! I love them and had so much fun coloring them. I stamped the mice first, then did some masking and stamped the pumpkins behind them. I kept it CAS by leaving plenty of white space, and added just a little texture with some embossing.

I'm also playing along with the Monday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp, "Love This Technique". At the moment, my favorite technique is coloring with Copic markers.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Thankful Mice, So Thankful (Lawn Fawn)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Tangelo Twist (SU)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Markers: Copic
Tools: Big Shot, Square Lattice Embossing Folder (SU)

I hope you enjoyed my itty bitty Fall scene! Please pay a visit to the rest of the DT at The Paper Players, and we'd be so pleased if you played along, too!

  7. This is ToooOoOooOOOo adorable! Not only is the stamp very smile-worthy, but you've brought these little mice to life through your coloring skills. A big WOW goes out to you because the way you've shaded it makes it so dimensional and life-like. I love the colors and the way you made this into a scene. It got me all giddy for sweater weather and stomping through leaves in my boots! Thanks so much for sharing such a delightful little card with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
