Hello there, friends! Is everyone getting ready for the long weekend? I hope you all enjoy a little time off. The weather is still glorious here in NY and I intend to enjoy it as long as it lasts. In contrast to the weather, I'm adding to my stash of Christmas cards today with a card for two challenges.
I was thrilled when I saw the Holly challenge at Merry Monday, because I had a brand new stamp set called Bow and Holly from Technique Tuesday waiting to be inked up. I combined it with the perfectly simple sketch from Sunday Stamps.
I stamped my main image in Memento ink and colored with Copics, adding a little shadow of gray around everything. I wanted to add a bit of gold glitz, which I did with some gold foil, an embossed sentiment, and a few sequins.
Stamp Sets: Bow and Holly (Technique Tuesday)
Card Stock: Whisper White, Riding Hood Red (SU)
Patterned Paper: Country Living Holiday Collection (SU)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Versamark
Tools: Heat Tool
Accessories: Gold Foil Paper and Gold Embossing Powder (SU), Celebration Sequins (Simon Says Stamp)
Have a great weekend, everyone! I'll see you on Sunday when I'm hostess for a new challenge from The Paper Players!
