Painted Flowers for The Paper Players

Hi friends! Today at The Paper Players, our sweet Claire is hostess and she has great color combo for us. To me, any color combo with some green in it wants to be a floral, lol! There are so many other options for these colors, though. They are great for a tropical beachy theme or for a masculine card. Check out the creations of the rest of our Design Team and you'll see what I'm talking about!

So here's my floral creation, using the Painted Flowers and Label Love stamp sets from Altenew. This should have been an easy card, but the focal panel gave me a bit of trouble and the first two wound up in the trash. Constant interuptions don't help either! I need to start getting up earlier so I can stamp when the house is quiet...
I'm also playing along with the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches, which I love. Look at me, learning to embrace things askew! The Libra in me usually wants none of that!

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Painted Flowers, Label Love (Altenew)
Card Stock: Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Bermuda Bay (SU)
Patterned Paper: Words of Love (Carta Bella)
Ink Pads: Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Bermuda Bay (SU), Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Accessories: Moonshine Sequins (Simon Says Stamp)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you over at The Paper Players!

Inky hugs!

  1. This is GORGEOUS Sandy! It was well worth the effort into making sure it was just right. The sentiment is gorgeous. Is it white embossed?

    1. Hi Kylie. The sentiment is from the Altenew Label Love stamp set, the background is solid so no embossing was required!
