Flutter By, SIP11, FM222 & STB

Hi, friends! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. The weather in NY is supposed to be glorious all week, low 80s during the day and upper 60s at night. Love it! This week we have a tic-tac-toe challenge for you at Stamp, Ink, Paper. Fun! I could have gone a couple of different ways, but lets call it Birthday, Die Cut and Butterfly.

Here's my card, using the Flutter By stamp set from Lawn Fawn and one of my favorite techniques. I heat embossed the flowers, leaves and butterfly with white embosing powder and then colored them with a paint brush and some distress inks. The sentiment is from the Agapanthus stamp set from Technique Tuesday.

I'm mashing it up with the Friday Mashup. They would like us to create a birthday theme project using any technique we like. I was also inspired by the colors in their inspiration photo. I'm also playing along with Seize The Birthday, where the theme is "Anything That Flies". Last but not least is the Lawnscaping Challenge, which is Embossing.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Flutter By (Lawn Fawn), Agapanthus (Technique Tuesday)
Card Stock: Solar White (Neenah), Strawberry Slush (SU), Watercolor Paper (Tim Holtz)
Patterned Paper: Pink Sized Patterns Beachside (Lawn Fawn)
Ink Pads: Versamark, Tuxedo Black (Memento), Crushed Olive, Peacock Feathers and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks (Tim Holtz)
Tools: Heat Tool, Painbrushes (Tim Holtz)
Accessories: White Embossing Powder (SU), Moonshine Sequins (Simon Says Stamp)

I hope you'll join us this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper and play along with our tic-tac-toe challenge!

Inky hugs!
