Best Thoughts Hello, SIP8

Hi friends! The weeks are flying by and it is already time for the eighth challenge at Stamp, Ink, Paper. This week the theme is Designer's Choice, basically, anything goes!

If given my choice it is likely that I'll reach for a floral image every time. I definitely take after my sweet mother who was a florist and avid gardener. I'm using the Best Thoughts stamp set for the first time today, and I really love it. It looks so beautiful watercolored over white embossing. The sentiment is a new thinlit, both from Stampin' Up.

Products Used: (All Stampin' Up)
Stamp Sets: Best Thoughts
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Black
Patterned Paper: Pretty Petals
Ink Pads: Versamark, Pink Pirrouette, Melon Mambo, Rose Red, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Lost Lagoon
Tools: Heat Tool, Big Shot, Greetings Thinlits
Accessories: White Embossing Powder

I hope to see you over at Stamp, Ink, Paper!

  2. This is so breathtaking, Sandy! I rarely reach for flowers and I want to start using them more, so I know you'll be on my list of go-to peeps for inspiration!! Hugs, Darnell

  3. Gorgeous!!! I love how you colored it!! I'd love to case, and I'll probably have your card pulled up on the computer right in front of me to case it exactly, right down to the shading of the bloom!!! LOVE it SO MUCH!!
