Hi Stampers! This week at The Paper Players, the amazing Jaydee is hostess and she has a great color combination for us. Hmm... I can envision an outfit in these colors! But I made a little oopsie... I see as I am typing this up that Jaydee also listed Whisper White in the challenge badge, but I used Very Vanilla. I hope she doesn't mind.
I thought these soft colors were very elegant and sophisticated, and that they would be appropriate for a sympathy card. Thankfully I don't need to use this card just yet, but it's one of those cards that is always good to have on hand. I decided to stamp some images collage style using the challenge colors and the World of Dreams stamp set. I love these silhouette images and they layer up so nicely. I added a tiny little butterfly which I find so symbolic on a sympathy card.
I used sentiments from the retired Love and Sympathy stamp set. I love these sentiments too, particularly the one for the inside of the card. I stamped a leaf on my envelope, and used the "second generation" image for the inside of the card.
