Smile, RS166 & SSS

Happy Monday morning, friends! I realize Mondays are not a joyous occasion for many, but I worked all weekend and today is a day off for me. Yay!  I did sneak in a little bit of crafty time last night. I had an idea and wanted to make it before I lost the thought. Otherwise it would have kept me up all night. Can anyone relate?

What got my wheels in gear was this awesome sketch from Retro Sketches. I was also inspired by Arielle's colorful card, which made me think about my yet untouched card kit from Simon Says Stamp.

I was further inspired by the Work It Wednesday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp, where the theme is "Rainbow".

Regarding the Smile Circle die, I thought I'd share a tip. I cut one from the blue and one from the white card stock included in the kit, and pieced them back together with no adhesive. I then carefully flipped it over and covered the back with washi tape to hold it together. Awesome! No gluey mess!

Products Used:
Happy And Smile Stamp Set, Card Stock, Patterned Paper from Doodlebug, Smile Circle Die, Rainbow Washi Tape from Little B: All from the Simon Says Stamp June Monthly Card Kit
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Daffodil Delight (SU)
Tools: Big Shot, Cloud Bank Die (SSS)

Have a fabulous day!

How fun is this?! Love the whole sketch and how you interpreted it, but that little rainbow tape is such a sweet little surprise! And good idea about the if I could just remember to do something like that, LOL!

Hi Sandy: I just love this fun and cheerful card, specially that sweet, smiling sun, you can't help but smile yourself. Great idea to use the Washi tape for a rainbow, that was so very clever.
Thank you for sharing.

Sandy, I love this SSS kit and you showcased it beautifully. The white smile on the blue background really pops off the page and I love the cut out clouds. Fabulous!
