Happy Banner, CMCC96 & SSCS272

Hi friends! It's Wednesday and time for another challenge at Colour Me! This week the colors are Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive and Coastal Cabana. I LOVE these colors! I would have never chosen them myself but I think it's a brilliant combo. That's what I love about challenges. They really get you thinking out of the box!

I have always admired the beautiful creations made by others using the Pure Innocence line of stamps from My Favorite Things. I was also quite intimidated by the amount of coloring involved since I am no expert when it comes to Copic's. I've been practicing though, so I thought I'd give one a try, and I'm so thrilled with the way it came out I ordered three more, LOL! Isn't that little girl the cutest?

I used the sketch from last week's challenge at Sweet Sunday and rotated it 90 degrees. Love this sketch, too! I'm also submitting this to the 30 Day Coloring Challenge at The Daily Marker.

The image was die cut first as it is a solid die, then stamped with Memento Ink and colored with Copic's. After my supply list there is an image of the colors I used.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Happy Banner (MFT)
Card Stock: Xpress It Blending Cardstock (Copic), Solar White (Neenah), Coastal Cabana, Baked Brown Sugar (SU)
Patterned Paper: Sunny Days Ahead (Echo Park)
Ink Pads: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Markers: Copic
Tools: Big Shot, Stitched Rectangle Dies (Lawn Fawn), Happy Banner Die (MFT)
Accessories: Enamel Dots (Simple Stories)

Please pay a visit to the team at Colour Me!, and have an amazing day!

  2. Wow you are great at coloring! I am still struggling, and keep to smaller images. I hope to take a class this fall at our local craft store. Maybe that will help!

She is adorable, and wow you even tried a face!!! I'm afraid of that LOL!!

The new SIP sounded fun so I gave it a go...not sure how the voting thing works, I'll have to go back and take a look. Loved your butterfly card there too! Have a great day!
