Butterfly Drift for The Paper Players

Greetings Stampers, and a Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! My wonderful and talented friend LeAnne is hostess today at The Paper Players, and she has a delicious color combination for us: Lost Lagoon, Sahara Sand and Pistachio Pudding. I was also inspired by Nance's great challenge badge and made a card with butterflies!

I've been a bit into butterflies lately, which is a nice change from my usual florals. I recently got this Butterfly Drift die from Simon Says Stamp, and I had great fun filling it with bits and pieces of paper from the SU All Abloom stack. There were lots of patterns in the challenge colors!

I'm adding this to the Wednesday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp, which is Spotlight on the Sentiment. I think my little hello looks like it IS a spotlight! I'm also playing along with their Monday Challenge, which is to use any Simon products.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Butterfllies (SSS)

Thanks for stopping by! Please pay a visit to the rest of the fabulous Design Team at The Paper Players, and play along if you can!

  18. Wow! This is so stunning! I really love what you've done here. So clever to use patterned paper for the butterflies and the gorgeous clean white as the outline. I think it was so smart to put this against a soothing subtle background and I love, love, love the addition of the alphabet behind the butterflies. You have a great eye for design and this is stunning! Thanks for sharing it with us for this week's Simon Say Stamp Monday Challenge!
