Butterflies for The Paper Players

Hello friends, and happy Sunday, my favorite day of the week! Today at The Paper Players, it's Claire's turn to be hostess, and she has a super-fun tic-tac-toe challenge for us. I chose the bottom left corner to the top right: Die Cut, Embossing and Sequins. Yumm! All my favorite things!

I actually made this card two weeks ago for the Girly Thanks challenge, but afterward realized it was a CAS challenge. That always happens! Anyway, it just so happened to work perfectly for the tic-tac-toe board so I was ahead of the game this week. And in case you haven't noticed, I'm a bit into butterflies lately! FYI my embossed element is the middle butterfly, which was heat embossed with white embossing powder onto vellum card stock.

Since I used a bunch of Simon products, I'm adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge which is Anything Goes.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Butterflies (SSS)
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Blushing Bride, White Vellum (SU), Solar White (Neenah)
Patterned Paper: I Am (Simple Stories)
Ink Pads: Chocolate Chip, Blushing Bride, Sahara Sand (SU), Veramark
Tools: Big Shot, Heat Tool, Petite Butterfies & Caliope Flourish Dies (SSS), Scallop Stencil (Heidi Swapp)

Thanks for visiting today, and please pay a visit to the rest of the Design Team at The Paper Players! We hope you'll play along, too!

  12. Apologies for my late comment - I'm playing catch up! Such a great card - I am going to have to have a go at that background, you create the most beautiful soft stencilled backgrounds! I love the detail on the butterfly and die cuts too - so pretty!
