April Showers for The Paper Players

Greetings, friends! I hope you are all enjoying a nice Memorial Day weekend. I enjoyed some crafty time yesterday, and today I plan on working in the garden a bit and tidying up the garage. OK not the most exciting plans ever, but I want to take advantage of the beautiful spring weather. Today at The Paper Players Anne Marie is hostess, and she has an awesome sketch challenge for us. I knew right away what I wanted to do with it.

I'm playing with yet more new toys today. I've been on a bit of a crafty spending frenzy lately. I really need to stop! The April Showers collection by Clearly Besotted is new to me, and when I saw the cute umbrellas in the Sunny Days Ahead paper pack, I had to have that, too. My umbrella was die cut first and then stamped. The raindrops were stamped and then covered with a bit of Glossy Accents to make them shiny.

Products Used:
Stamp Sets: April Showers, April Showers Additions (Clearly Besotted)
Card Stock: Soft Sky (SU), Solar White (Neenah)
Patterned Paper: Sunny Days Ahead (Echo Park)
Ink Pads: Soft Sky, Strawberry Slush (SU), Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Tools: Big Shot, April Showers Die (Clearly Besotted), Stitched Rectangles (Lawn Fawn)
Accessories: Linen Thread (SU), Glossy Accents (Ranger)

Thanks for visiting today, and please pay a visit to the rest of the Design Team at The Paper Players! We hope you'll play along, too!
