Hi, stampers! It's Wednesday and time for a new challenge at Colour Me! This week is a special challenge as you have the choice of one of two color combos. I'm on Team Hayley, so my color combo is Rose Red, Cherry Cobbler and Coastal Cabana.
I chose to make a real clean and simple card using some dies from Ellen Hutson. I had such a hard getting a good picture of this card! I spent way more time taking and editing photos than I did making the card. So frustrating. I guess because the background is kind of fuzzy on the edges the camera had a hard time focusing, and all the white space didn't help, either. The flower is nice and sparkly thanks to two coats of Wink of Stella but I couldn't capture that, either. Well, here you have it, this is the best I could do!
I was quite intriqued by the layout at CAS(E) this sketch this week and decided to play along with that, too.
Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Big Birthday Wishes (SSS)
Card Stock: Whisper White, Strawberry Slush, White Vellum (SU)
Ink Pads: Coastal Cabana (SU), Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Tools: Big Shot, Bold Blossom Stand Alone Dies (Ellen Hutson), Sponge Dauber (SU), Square Lattice Stencil (Heidi Swapp)
Accessories: Jack & Jill Enamel Dots (Echo Park), Wink of Stella
Thanks for visiting! I hope you'll play along with us this week at Colour Me, and please visit the rest of the Design Team, too!
