A Little Birdie Told Me

Greetings, friends! Time is just whizzing by and here we are at Wednesday once again, and a new challenge from Colour Me! This week it's a striking combo of Marina Mist and Daffodil Delight. I took some cues from the blue skies in the inspiration photo, combined it with some yellow sunshine, and an idea was born!

I thought this stamp set fit the ticket perfectly. The sun was stamped in Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. The clouds and sentiment were cut out with Word Window Framelits, and the sun and bird cut out by hand. The little bird was colored with Copics.

I'm also linking this up to a challenge I am playing with for the first time, Virginia's View. It's a monthly challenge, and the theme this month is Layers and Dimension. There is so much amazing inspiration on this blog, you should check it out!
