Happy Sunday, Friends! This week at The Paper Players, the wonderful and talented Laurie is our hostess, and she has chosen "Think Spring" for our theme challenge. I am SO ready for spring, Laurie!
Springtime brings back some fond memories of when I worked for my parents, in their garden center and florist shop. During the spring season when you walked into the shop in the morning, the fragrance of flowering bulbs was overwhelming. The hydrangeas, daffodils, tulips and hyacinth covered every inch of the store, and the sight and smell of them always made me smile. It's no wonder I went in search of some tulips and pastel colors for this challenge.
I used the Love is Kindness Stamp Set, stamped it with Memento Black Ink, colored it with Blendabilities and cut it out by hand. I thought the blossoms needed a little something, so I used my Wink of Stella Brush to add a little sparkle.
My fellow Paper Player Shannon always lines her envelopes, and I have taken her good advice and done the same. That little bit of extra effort really does make the card so much more special.
