CAS Floral: PP236 & CTD333

Hi friends! Another week has wooshed by and we are inching closer to spring, so I don't really mind! This week at The Paper Players, the amazing Ann Schach is hostess. She has chosen a floral theme for this week's Clean and Simple challenge. I'd say about half my stamp sets are florals, so this challenge is right up my alley!

The Too Kind Stamp Set is a super simple two-step set and I thought it would be perfect for a CAS card. It's a very forgiving set too, as the images don't need to be perfectly lined up to look great. I did however use a Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to get things just where I wanted them.

For my color inspiration I chose the pretty purples and green at Color Throwdown. I see now that my purples aren't quite the same, but since the colors aren't named I think I can get away with it!

I originally planned on adding a sentiment, but then I thought that this card could be suitable for any occasion, so I'll add a sentiment inside when I'm ready to use it. I was also thinking that I might make a set of these cards in different colors for a gift. We'll see if I get around to that!

So pretty Sandy - I love purple! I am really drawn to the DSP background of your card - I hardly ever use this pattern, yet it looks great behind the CAS flower. Great job!

Simply gorgeous, Sandy! I love the beautiful color combo and the clean design. That paper adds the perfect touch to make the flowers pop off the card. So pretty! :)

Beautiful CAS card, Sandy! I admire your ability to rock purple--it's a color I struggle with. Love the way you split the two pieces of DSP and let the mat color show through. Clever detail that doesn't add any bulk. Great card!
