TGIF, my friends! It looks like we are headed toward another snowy weekend in NY. That will make three in a row. Oh well, I look at the bright side. As long as I am nice and warm in my house that leaves me more time to craft! I'm playing with two new stamp sets that I "had to have". My addiction to Lawn Fawn is worsening! I just love that the images and sentiments in all the sets work so fabulously together. It's hard to believe that I used images from three different sets for this simple little birthday card. I had so much fun making it, too!
I had three challenges for my inspiration. At the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog, the challenge this week is "H is for..." Well, my three stamp sets are Hedgehugs, Hats off to You, and Hello Sunshine, and of course there is the Happy Birthday!
The Lawnscaping Challenge this week is Clean and Simple...
...and it's "Anything Goes" at Seize the Birthday!
This is a clean and simple card so there isn't a whole lot to explain, other than the list of ingredients, below. The only thing I will mention is that I used the Grassy Border Die to make a mask, and then I sponged below it with a Sponge Dauber and Old Olive Ink.
Stamp Sets: Hedgehugs, Hats off to You, Hello Sunshine
Lawn Cuts: Hedgehugs, Hats off to You, Hello Sunshine, Grassy Border and Stitched Rectangle Dies
Patterned Paper: Let's Polka
Card Stock: Whisper White
Ink Pads: Memento Tuxedo Black, Real Red, Old Olive
Blendability Markers: Coastal Cabana, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight and Skin Tone Assortments
Tools: Big Shot, Sponge Dauber
Thanks for stopping by today, and I would be ever so pleased if you would leave a comment!
