Crazy About You Sneak Peek, CQC271 & RS145

Hi Friends! Another weekend has come and gone and mine was a productive one. I'm happy to say that all my Christmas presents have been purchased and wrapped, except for a couple of stragglers which will be delivered this week. My next project is to make placecards for Christmas Eve. I'd love to hear how your holiday prepations are coming along!

Oops, yes there is a card here! Nothing fancy, just getting to know some new friends which were delivered last week. The sneak peeks here are the Crazy About You Stamp Set and Hello You Thinlits from the new SU Occasions Catalog. I love inking up new rubber for the first time!

The two challenges which inspired this project were the intriguing color challenge at ColourQ, and the fabulously simple sketch from Retro Sketches.

Not too much to explain here. This was a simple and easy card to assemble as the stamp set and Thinlits did all the work. Check out all the sentiments in this stamp set, below. This was a must have for me! I love that it is available in three types of stamps too, wood mount, clear mount, or (my favorite) photopolymer.

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Crazy About You
Card Stock: Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Bermuda Bay, Hello Honey
Ink Pads: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Memento Tuxedo Black
Tools: Big Shot, Hello You Thinlits
Accessories: Painted Blooms Cotton Twine, Frosted Sequins

I'd love it if you left me some inky love in the form of a comment. And then go have an awesome day!

  1. I'm glad to see this set IRL, because I was thinking about getting it! Seems like a fun one to use, lots of possibilities for trendy stuff! Love the color combo too! :D

  2. I love this! The flower and leaves are awesome and the way you did the sentiment is so cool! You are so much better prepared than I am for Christmas. I'm determined to get my cards in the mail by Wednesday and all the presents are bought but not wrapped (I can't do it too early because I'm afraid cats will scratch them all up)!
