Butterfly Basics Sneak Peek, FMS166 & STB

Hi, Friends! I'm taking a break from holiday projects today to share some sneak peak products from the new Stampin' Up Occasions Catalog, which is about to be released on January 6. This super feminine creation features the Buttlerfly Basics Stamp Set, Butterflies Thinlits and a couple items from the Artisan Embellishment Kit.

I'm playing along with two challenges today, the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches and the Anything Goes challenge at Seize the Birthday.

These butterfly die cuts are to die for! Pun intended! I cut the one on top out of Blushing Bride Card Stock and the one below with Gold Foil. The little rosette is from the Artisan Embellishment Kit. The images in the background were stamped collage style.

The sentiment was heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. I added a little lace and a snippet of doily, also from the Artisan Embellishment Kit.

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Butterfly Basics
Card Stock: Whisper White, Blushing Bride
Ink Pads: Versamark, Crumb Cake
Markers: Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake
Tools: Big Shot, Heat Tool, Butterflies Thinlits
Accessories: Gold Embossing Powder, Artisan Embellishment Kit, Gold Foil Sheets, Gold 1/8" Ribbon, Venetian Crochet Trim

Thanks for stopping by today!

  5. Hi Sandy! This is such a beautiful card made with some great new products! I love your color scheme too. I was only curious if the new butterfly thinlets/framelets are a little difficult to cut out or if all the little pieces stick?? Crystal
