Cheerful Tags for The Paper Players

Hello my friends! It's Sunday, time for another fun challenge from The Paper Players, and this week it's my turn to host! I've chosen a festive color combo for your crafting pleasure. I can't take any credit at all for the fabulous badge, though. That's all Nance's doing!

By the way, some of you have been asking about my new kitten. Scroll down to the bottom for more on that subject.

When I originally chose this color combo I envisioned something vintage, but I've had so much fun playing with my new Cheerful Tags Stamp Set that I wanted to use it again on a card.

For my layout, I used this week's sketch challenge from Mojo Monday and rotated it 90 degrees to the left.

There isn't any current Stampin' Up paper using this color combo so I had to come up with my own. Row after row of tree images were a snap to line up using this photopolymer set.

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Cheerful Tags
Card Stock: Mossy Meadow, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler
Ink Pads: Mossy Meadow, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake
Tools: Scalloped Edge Border Punch
Accessories: Frosted Sequins

I hope you'll play along with my challenge this week at The Paper Players!

Now, more on the new kitten...

Little Oliver, or Ollie for short, is 12 weeks old and growing so fast.  We took him to the vet again yesterday and he grew from 2 lbs. to 4 lbs. in three short weeks. He is eating quite well!

Ollie's first "selfie", compliments of my daughter. Don't let that sweet little face fool you. He is a tiny terror on four paws! Just 15 minutes ago he decided to take a flying leap from the kitchen table onto a plant stand. Needless to say that did not end well.

He loves going on Pinterest...

Watching  nature shows on TV...

And just lounging around. I would venture to say he is a very happy little guy!

Have a great Sunday, everyone!

Love your color challenge and your card is a beauty! I am wishing I had gotten that set! But Ollie....he stole the show. To see him sitting in front of your big-screen TV watching nature is TOO FUNNY! Love that cat! Give him a hug for me, the little terror!

Great take on the sketch. Your colors look so fresh and clean and I love the little touch of glitz you gave it with the sequins! Your kitten is so darn cute! The Pinterest picture made me laugh out loud.

Sandy, I just love how you created your own DSP with the little trees! Genious! The sequins are the perfect touch! But, Ollie is hilarious! Looking at Pinterest and watching TV was too funny! XX

Sandy, I just love your card!. The random placement of snowflakes and sparkles is perfect, as it the balance of colors :)
And Ollie is sure a cutie! I love hearing about his exploits...nothing like a little one to bring chaos as well as delight into the house!

Apologies for my late visit this week! I love your colour choices this week and your own take; your homemade DSP is inspired - I was busy looking through my Trim the Tree stack for it before I read your blog post lol! Gorgeous card!
