Merry Moments & Bright Hopes, SSSC242 & FF43

Greetings, Friends! I was feeling all nostalgic the other day when I pulled out a bunch of retired products to use on this halloween card, so I thought I'd do the same and use some retired goodies once again for this Christmas card.

I'm playing along with two challenges today. The layout is from the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, and I took my colors from the inspiration photo at Festive Friday, which I interpreted as Cherry Cobbler, Basic Gray and Crumb Cake.

I love this tree image, and it looks so beautiful embossed in Pewter Embossing Powder. Pewter is a richer, deeper shade than silver, almost like an  antique silver. One rhinestone in the center adds a bit of sparkle.

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Bright Hopes
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake
Ink Pads: Cherry Cobbler, Versamark
Tools: Heat Tool
Accessories: Pewter Embossing Powder, Rhinestones, Very Vanilla 1/8" Tafetta Ribbon, Merry Moments Simply Scrappin' Kit

Have an awesome day and Happy Stamping!

  1. Hi Sandy, this is another stunning card. I love the color combination. I certainly wouldn't have thought to add pewter (and gray) in with red and crumb cake. Beautiful!

  3. Love this card, Sandy. I like the colors and immediately liked the DSP with the tree stamp. The disc accent is perfect too.
