Another Amazing Birthday, PP214 & CTS93

Hi there, Stampers! It's Sunday, and that means it's time for another challenge from The Paper Players! This week the wonderful Jaydee is hostess, and she has chosen a Clean and Simple Masculine Birthday Card for our challenge. I have soooo many birthdays coming up in the next two months, so this worked out perfectly for me.

My BIL's Birthday is in just five days, so I'm popping this baby right in the mail tomorrow! I tried to stay true to the CAS aspect of this challenge and keep plenty of white space. No tools required either, just stamps, paper, ink and couple of minimal embellishments.

I chose the layout from CASE this Sketch for my card. I tried to place my sentiment panel slightly askew to mimic the sketch, but the Libra in me would have none of it! Is there anyone else out there who has trouble with askew?

The focal panel was stamped three times, once in Espresso, then again with Hello Honey and Marina Mist onto scraps. Snip, snip, it is done!

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Amazing Birthday, Perfect Pennants, Gorgeous Grunge
Card Stock: Early Espresso, Whisper White
Ink Pads: Early Espresso, Hello Honey, Marina Mist
Accessories: Natural Trim, Linen Thread

Inky hugs!

  9. Great masculine card! I have resisted buying this set as we are getting it free at European Convention in a couple of weeks time, but I have found it hard - cards like this make me want it now!!
