Happy Birthday Buds, PP208 & FMS148

Hi there, Friends! We've flown through another week and here we are back at Sunday again. You know I love Sunday's, which are (usually) a day for relaxing and perhaps crafting, and time for a new Paper Players challenge! The always amazing Nance has a fab color challenge for us this week. Initially it looked a bit daunting, but once I started to work with these colors I realized how amazing they are with each other. I love Nance's inspiration photo, too!

This is the second time I am inking up the Hey There Buds stamp, and I have to say I really love it. It's such a perfect stamp to ink up with markers in multiple colors, and was perfect for this challenge. I was able to get all four colors on the single image! Yay, me!

I'm also linking up with the challenge this week at Freshly Made Sketches, and the layout couldn't have been  more perfect for this image.

I've got a crazy number of birthdays coming up in September and October, so I thought I'd get a head start and make this a birthday card. Since I was inking my stamp with markers, it was easy to eliminate the sentiment and add a different one, from the And Many More stamp set. This is an awesome set of 23, yep count 'em, 23 sentiments for absolutely every occasion and holiday. A must have!
