Greetings, Stampers! I'm very excited today because I've been asked to be a Guest Designer at The Friday Mashup!
Here's the Mashup Challenge:
- Create a project using a "Background Stamp".
- Create a project with "something 3-D on it".
- or Mash it Up! and create a "project with a 3-D element and a Background Stamp"
I tried really hard to mash things up and add a 3D element to my card but nothing would cooperate and I ran out of time! I did use my Dictionary background stamp. I was in the mood for something a little vintage so I shabbied things up by doing some distressing and sponging some of the edges in Crumb Cake.
I was in need of a color scheme and layout, which I found at the challenges at Color Throwdown and The Deconstructed Sketch.
The flowers are stamped with the Flower Patch stamp set and cut with coordinating Flower Fair Framelits. A little linen thread behind adds some texture, and a few pearls finished off my butterfly.
