Greetings, Stampers! I am so very happy and excited today! I've been asked to be part of the design team at Seize the Sketch! I'm so, so honored to be in the company of such talented stampers. Thanks for having me, gals!
Here's this week's sketch by our fearless leader and incredibly talented Lesley Croghan...
...and here's my take on the sketch. As I still had a big pile of brand new goodies on my desk, I couldn't resist the opportunity to use some of them today. Almost every thing I've used here is new. You can scroll down for a list of the ingredients, but the most exciting part for me was to try out Blendabilities Markers for the very first time. They color so beautifully!
Each set of Blendability Markers comes with three different shades, and I had an "aha" moment while coloring. Though the colors of the markers I used are Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive, the darkest shades of each of these colors coordinate perfectly with Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow. This was my very first experiment so I make no apologies. I'll be practicing over time to get the colors more perfectly blended, though I must say I'm content the way they are, too!
How about those pearls?! The Blendabilities Markers can also be used to color Pearls and Rhinestones. How awesome!
