Garden Florets, CQC238 & STS18

Hello, my inky friends! As Stampin' Up just announced what stamp sets and accessories will be retiring in June, I'd like to share some of my favorites on those lists between now and then. I think my most loved retiring stamp set is Fabulous Florets. Other products used on this card that are also retiring are the sentiment from Simply Sketched, the Gingham Garden DSP and Crumb Cake Tafetta Ribbon.

My inspiration came from the colors at this week's ColourQ challenge and the terrificly simple layout at Seize the Sketch.

This was a quick and simple card to assemble, no tools required other than my trusty Paper Snips, which I used to cut out the florets.

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Set: Fabulous Florets, Simply Sketched
Card Stock: Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Elegant Eggplant
Designer Series Paper: Gingham Garden
Ink Pads: Pear Pizzazz, Elegant Eggplant, Daffodil Delight
Accessories: Pearls

  1. So pretty Sandy. One of my favorite stamp sets... love the soft green in the middle of the flowers.

  2. This is a great way to highlight those retiring (sadly) products! Of course, the fact that you used the CQC colors is a plus too! I love how you stamped over the greenery--one of my favorite "techniques"!! Thanks for sharing & playing!
