Blushing Blossoms for The Paper Players

Is it Sunday again already? Wow, time does fly when you're having fun, and get ready to have even more fun with us at The Paper Players today! This week the amazing Anne Marie has a fantastic sketch for us!

When I saw the sketch for the first time, I immediately thought of putting a flower in the "Any Shape" space. It seemed only right to reach for the retiring Blossom Party Die, along with the also retiring Little Leaves Sizzlit. Even the background stamp, En Francais is retiring soon. I'm so sad to see all these products say goodbye!

The large blossom has five layers which I cut from Blushing Bride Card Stock and then sponged with Blushing Bride Ink. Eek! Even the Sponge Daubers are retiring! I curled up the petals a little with a bone folder. I adhered the layers with a dot of Liquid Tombo and placed a Large Pearl in the center. You guessed it, those are retiring, too!

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Sets: En Francais, Simply Sketched
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, Early Espresso
Designer Series Paper: Venetian Romance
Ink Pads: Blushing Bride, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
Tools: Big Shot, Blossom Party Die, Little Leaves Sizzlits, Sponge Daubers, Distressing Tool
Accessories: Pearls, Large Pearls

Come join the fun and play along with us this week at The Paper Players! Hope to see you there!

  1. Sandy, this is such a lovely card. I've never seen the Blossom Party die look so pretty! From the background, to the colors and images it's all soft and beautiful. Such a great way to showcase these retiring products. Way to rock the sketch too! ((hugs))
