Masculine Modern Medley, FMS128 & CC6

It's very rare I can say I've made a 15 minute card but this is one of them: simple, elegant and masculine. Best of all, fast. I think I am going to go back and make a whole stack of them in the different patterns from Modern Medley, and then I'll be set with guy cards for a while.

I immediatey knew what I wanted to create when I saw the great, simple layout at Freshly Made Sketches. I'm playing along with The Card Concept today too, where their challenge is to create a birthday card. They like you to name the style of your card, which I will call Clean and Layered.

The sentiment is from the Best of Birthdays Stamp Set, and I stamped it with Black Stazon Ink and punched it with an Extra Large Oval Punch. It fits perfectly into an embossed frame made with Designer Frames Embossing Folders.

By the way, the Best Of stamp sets are still available through March 31, 2014, but time is running out. To see the entire collection, click here.

I love this, Sandy! And I love it when people make cool discoveries, like how your sentiment fits perfectly in that frame embossing folder, and how Modern Medley is perfect for masculine cards. I've learned two new things today!

This is really sensational, Sandy! I think it is perfect for a guy card, but it is also classically feminine! I used to have a suit with a white jacket and a houndstooth skirt back in my administrator days, eons ago. I still like the look though! Hugs, Darnell
