Hi there, Friends! I have fun, playful card to share with you today. It ended up nothing like what I originally had in mind. I didn't like the way the original creation came out so I took it apart and used the parts for two different cards. I'll be sharing the other one later on in the week.
What got my creative juices flowing was the color challenge at ColourQ. At first the colors had me thinking of foliage and ferns, but after that didn't work out the way I planned I shifted gears and had fun with the inspiration photo. I substituted Pear Pizzazz and Garden Green for the two greens they have listed. The layout is from the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, which I rotated 90 degrees.
I thought the blossoms from the Floral Fusion Sizzlit closely mimicked those in the inspiration photo, and I even turned one upside down to follow the pattern on the cup. Rhinestones take the place of the crystal tea holder. Oh, and by the way, after I finally got this card finished I realized it was upside down. Ugh! I hate when that happens! Thankfully I was able to fix it.
