Hello, Stampers! Wow, has another week passed already? I guess time flies when you are shoveling snow, LOL! Here we are again on another Sunday and another challenge from The Paper Players. This week the awesome LeAnne has a Clean and Simple Challenge for us, to use stars on our project. Not only is this a pretty easy request, but stars can be used on projects for so many different occasions, or no occasion at all like my card!
I have a plastic shoe box full of leftover bits and pieces from the Paper Pumpkin kits, and since this was a CAS challenge I thought it would be fun to see what I could put together using those supplies. I really love the colors and patterns in the first two kits, which is what I used. Some of the colors are retired, but that's OK since I've stashed them away like a squirrel, LOL!
All the patterned paper and even the sentiment stamp came with the kits. I just cut some of the paper using the Circle Framelits and added some stars and Candy Dots. I opted to keep my card flat so it's easily mailable, as well. This was fun and easy! So much so that I feel like I cheated!
Stampin' Up Products Used:
Card Stock: So Saffron, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy
Ink Pads: Not Quite Navy
Tools: Big Shot, Circles Framelits, Stars Die
Accessories: Subtles Candy Dots
Other: All other supplies including stamp are from Paper Pumpkin Kits
Please pay a visit to the rest of the Design Team at The Paper Players! We'd love it if you made a starry creation and played along, too!
