Wonderful Valentine

Hi there, friends! Yes, I have yet another Valentine to share with you today. I am determined to get all of my Valentine's Day cards finished this week. I am a woman on a mission, so watch out! This one is going to be for my DH, and I must admit I struggled with it a bit. I wanted it to be masculine, but also celebrate the fact that we survived a very difficult year. He was terribly ill last year, and the fact that he is in such good health now is big reason to celebrate! And tell him how happy I am that he is! I think he is really going to like the sentiment on this card, which resembles his new outlook on life.

I used the Perfect Pennants Stamp Set along with new Banner Framelits. The color scheme is a simple Black/ Vanilla, except for the two hearts which were heat embossed with Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder. They are very shiny IRL!

Here is the inside of my card. This was a kind of "copy and paste" using three stamps, black markers, and my trusty Stamp-A-Ma-Jig. This is my favorite thing about making my own cards, they can be completely cusomized! Love it!

  6. Well, Sandy, this is a wonderful masculine card, but I have to say it also stole my feminine heart!! I'm so happy that you have your DH with you to celebrate Valentine's Day. I know it easily could have gone the other way and I celebrate his health along with you! Hugs, Darnell
