One Layer Valentine for The Paper Players

Greetings, all! It's Sunday and time for another challenge from The Paper Players, plus it's my turn to be hostess this week! Yay! For this month's Clean-and-Simple Challenge, I thought it would be fun to make One Layer Valentine's Day Cards!

My one layer card is super clean and simple and uses a "sneak peek" stamp set from the upcoming Stampin' Up Sale-A-Bration Catalog called Banner Blast. The little banner at the bottom is from the Itty Bitty Banners Stamp Set.

To make my banner, first I drew my banner line using a Basic Black marker. I used an Oval Framelit to trace around, and I hand drew the little bows at the end. Then I used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to perfectly position the banners. Aren't they cute? I love this stamp set!

I'm also linking up to a brand new challenge blog called the One Layer Simplicity Challenge where the theme this month is "Re-stocking the Shelves".

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Banner Blast, Itty Bitty Banners
Card Stock: Whisper White
Ink Pads: Blushing Bride, Strawberry Slush, Black Stazon
Markers: Basic Black
Tools: Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, Oval Framelits (for tracing banner line)

I hope you'll join the fun this week and play along with us at The Paper Players!
