Hello, all! I have a terrible case of Crafter's ADD this week. My desk is a disaster! I have about five unfinished projects sitting on top, and who knows how many tucked away. I am usually very organized; I don't know what's happened to me! I couldn't get any of them finished, so I decided to clear off my desk and start a new one, LOL!
Also rather unlike me is to make so many CAS creations lately. I had something totally different in mind when I started this card, lots more layers and embellishments, but I didn't like the way it looked so I kept deleting until I ended up with this simple card.
The Black and Melon color scheme is compliments of the design team at Dynamic Duos. This week they have a dessert option of "umbrellas". Can you believe that I do not own a single stamp with an umbrella on it? I had to settle for flowers instead.
This CAS layout is from Freshly Made Sketches. My florets take the place of the larger circle and square.
The florets were stamped in Black Stazon Ink and cut out by hand. The centers were sponged with a little Melon Mambo Ink. A single Rhinestone adds a tiny bit of sparkle.
