Joy Banner

Stampin' Up is very generous to it's Demonstrators. Just the other day I received a huge "grab bag" of retired products, absolutely free, just for participating in an event. Included was a Simply Scrappin' kit called Merry Moments. I immediately fell in love with the traditional colors and patterns, and decided it would be perfect for a Christmas Banner I've been wanting to make.

No stamps or ink were required. All the DSP, Card Stock, trim, and the pre-printed circles were included in the kit. I made rosettes from some of the DSP using my Simply Scored scoring tool. The gold foil letters were cut with the Typeset Alphabet Bigz Dies.

I added some snowflakes cut with the retired Snow Flurry Bigz Die out of Champagne Glimmer Paper and topped them with a pearl. The birds were punched out with the Bird Builder Punch using Gold Foil and the Glimmer Paper.

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Sets & Ink Pads: None
Tools: Big Shot, Snow Flurry Bigz Die, Typeset Alphabet Bigz Dies, Bird Builder Punch
Accessories: Old Olive 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Pearls, Gold Foil Sheets, Champagne Glimmer Paper, Merry Moments Simply Scrappin Kit

I have a new little buddy who comes to visit for breakfast every morning. Since I put up the Christmas decorations, the pumpkins and mums have been relegated to the back deck. My fuzzy friend the squirrel has carved a nice opening into one of them and has a feast of fresh pumpkin seeds every day. Isn't he the cutest?!

Thanks for popping by today! Hugs!
