Bats About You, DD84 & SSSC200

Greetings, Stampers! Did you all survive the big holiday? Though a good time was had by all, I must say I'm all worn out. I'm looking forward to a relaxing week between now and New Years Eve. Then the festivities will resume at my house!

There is only one week left to order products from the Stampin' Up 2013 Holiday Catalog. I know, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas are over, but there are lots of amazing products in the catalog that are not just for the holidays. Take the Halloween Hello Stamp Set for example. From the moment I saw it, I wanted to make a Valentine's Day card with the cute sentiment and bat.

The color challenge at Dynamic Duos was perfect for a Valentine's Day card!

The fun layout at the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge provided a perfect focal panel for my flying bats.

I cut the oval using the Oval Framelits die, and pierced it with a Paper Piercing Tool and Occasion Paper Piercing Pack and Mat. The sentiment and bats were cut out by hand, and the bats popped up with scraps of Dimensionals.

  1. Sandy, this is adorable! I love when a stamp set is versatile, and when a creative lady like you shares a wonderful way to use it! Great use of color with the stamp set and awesome fussy cutting of those bats. Thanks for sharing at the Dynamic Duos this week! Rest up for New Year's festivities...
