How is everyone doing today out there in Blogland? My thoughts are mostly consumed with Thanksgiving this week. This is my favorite holiday, I cook at home every year, and it is the one day of the year I never get any complaints about the food. We all love the leftovers, and a day or so later I make Turkey Pot Pies. Yumm!
Speaking of turkey, I borrowed the Turkey Talk Stamp Set from a friend for another reason, but once I saw all the oh-so-cute images I had to use it for a card today. They are adorable! This set is long retired, as are most of the other stamps used in this card.
I love this simple layout by Julee Tilman at Mojo Monday, and it was perfect for showcasing my hungry little pilgrim boy!
The colors at Color Throwdown this week were perfect for a Thanksgiving project though I had to make a few minor adjustments. I did not have Dusty Durango so I substituted Cajun Craze, and I also substituted Blush Blossom for Peach Parfait. OK, that one is kind of a stretch but humor me please!
Isn't this little guy the absolute cutest! Love it! I stamped him in Black Stazon ink and colored him in with Ink Pads and an Aqua Painter. Easy peasy!
