Sketched Christmas, PP172

Hooray for Sunday, my favorite day of the week! It also means it is time once again to play along with The Paper Players challenge! This week Nance has a Clean and Simple challenge for us, and to play along you need to use leaves in your project.

Because of the time of year you might have thought that I would create something with Autumn leaves, but in keeping with my Season of Style week I decided to make a Christmas card. I used the beautiful Simply Sketched stamp set combined with a greeting from Petite Pairs, and my favorite paper from Season of Style.

It doesn't get much more clean and simple than this! It took just some stamps, paper and ink to create this simple but elegant card. The focal image was stamped in Black Stazon ink and colored in with ink pads and an Aqua Painter.

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Simply Sketched, Petite Pairs
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Pear Pizzazz
Designer Series Paper: Season of Style
Ink Pads: Black Stazon, Pear Pizzazz, Cherry Cobbler
Tools: Aqua Painter

Thanks for visiting and be sure to visit the rest of the design team at The Paper Players!

Also, just a reminder to leave a comment on yesterday's post if you would like to play along for some blog candy!

Inky hugs!

Sandy, I love that you used this image for a Christmas card. The single vertical layer of DSP is the perfect offset for the image. Fabulous card.
