Hello and happy Sunday! It's been quite nippy here in NY the last few days and certainly feels like late autumn, perfect inspiration for this week's challenge at The Paper Players! Ann has chosen this autumnal color combo of Crushed Curry, Chocolate Chip and Tangerine Tango. Love it!
I had this little tree from the Best of Autumn Stamp Set stamped onto a square of Watercolor Paper and sitting on my desk for a while now. This color challenge was just what I needed to finish it up and create this clean and simple card. I combined it with a scrap of Sweater Weather DSP, also in the challenge colors.
How do you make an itty bitty tree look more important? First, use multiple mats to create a greater focal point. Then, use sentiments and embellishments to scale. The sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes was the perfect size, as was the thin ribbon and small scale pattern in the DSP. Oh, and don't forget to leave plenty of white space.
