Window Sheet Pillow Box for Halloween

Greetings on this wonderful Wednesday, Stampers! Gosh, is Halloween really tomorrow? I didn't complete quite as many projects for the holiday as I wanted to. This was one that sat half finished on my desk for weeks, so I finished it up last night before it was too late!

This is a treat filled pillow box made with Window Sheets. You may be thinking that this was made with the retired Pillow Box Sizzix Die, but it wasn't. Instead I used a template from Stampin' Up's pattern library for Demonstrators. It's a bit larger than the one from the old Sizzix die. I filled it with little licorice bites.

I wanted this to be more of a "grown up" treat container, so I kept the color scheme to a more sophisticated Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Summer Starfruit. I added just a touch of shine with a single Rhinestone and a layer of Silver Glimmer Paper. Isn't the bat on the DSP super cool? I can picture making a bunch of these as favors for an adult Halloween party.

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Halloween Hello
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Summer Starfruit

Happy stamping and Happy Halloween!

Spooky fun, Sandy! Great Halloween-y colors, and I love the offset strip of DSP.
