Motorcycle Get Well Wishes

Greetings on this beautiful Wednesday morning! It is supposed to reach 80 degrees here in New York today. Wow, is this some great weather for October or what! Today's project is super clean and simple and is for a very dear friend of mine and hubby. John loves to ride, and survived a pretty rough motorcycle accident a few years back, only to be battling cancer now. Hubby was thrilled to see I had a motorcycle stamp on hand, on loan from a friend.

I had my image and sentiment stamps chosen, but had no idea what I wanted to do with them. As always, I turned to a challenge for inspiration. I thought the Less is More sketch was simply perfect.

I used my Ovals Framelit to cut an oval out of scrap paper, and used it as a mask to sponge some Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie ink. The images were stamped on top with Black Stazon ink, and that's about it!

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Motorcycle, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Card Stock: Whisper White
Ink Pads: Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Black Stazon
Tools: Big Shot, Ovals Framelit, Stampin' Sponge

Thanks for visiting today!

I love this, Sandy. Perfect sponging detail! I love that you let the image and sentiment cross over the edges of the oval.
