Motorcycle Birthday for The Paper Players

It's another fabulous Sunday and time to play along with The Paper Players! This week LeAnne has a super theme for us, to create a clean and simple masculine birthday card. We're all in need of those!

The timing of the challenge couldn't have been more perfect for me as my son's birthday is later this week. Son just bought a motorcycle recently, and I know he'll love this card, though not as much as his motorcycle!

I used this terrific sketch by Tammy from Sketch Frenzy Friday. This is a perfect, classic layout that I'll use again and again.

Though you really can't see it from my photo, the motorcycle image has a nice shine to it from heat embossing with Black Embossing Powder. I thought the pattern on this paper from the Sweater Weather DSP looked great behind the motorcycle. For a little something extra I lined the envelope with the same paper.

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Motorcycle, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Card Stock: Sahara Sand, Very Vanilla, Basic Black
Designer Series Paper: Sweater Weather
Ink Pads: Versamark, Black Stazon
Tools: Big Shot, Labels Collection and Ovals Framelits, Heat Tool
Accessories: Black Embossing Powder

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll play along with us this week at The Paper Players!

Inky hugs!

I ADORE this card, Sandy! It's a fabulous sketch and the black really pops. This stamp is perfect for the challenge and it must look really glossy glam IRL!

How convenient that your son bought a motorcycle just so you could make this fabby card!!! I couldn't wait to comment on it with that particular SW paper, which I haven't quite figured out what to do with yet!!
