Sweater Weather for the Paper Players

Greetings, Stampers! I'm filling in this week as hostess at The Paper Players, woo hoo! This week the theme is "Falling for You", a fall themed card. That should be pretty easy for most of you. Surely you have a stamp in your stash with a leaf or a tree in it, if not, then how about some autumnal colors? C'mon, play along! You know you want to!

I wanted the colors in my card to be autumnal but bright, which was easy since I used the colors from my Sweater Weather DSP. The leaves were cut from card stock using the Autumn Accents Die, then embossed with two different embossing folders.

This card is all about colors, pattern and texture. The only thing that was stamped was the greeting from the Banner Greetings Stamp Set.

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Banner Greetings
Card Stock: Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
Designer Series Paper: Sweater Weather

Thanks for visiting! Don't forget to check out the awesome projects by the other Design Team Members at The Paper Players!

  1. Sandy, really like this card. I was wanting to use this die the other day......I guess I never ordered it. Now that it is on the way I will be doing an embossed leaf card when it comes in. THANKS for the inspiration!
