Hey There Friend, RS80

Hey there, Stampers! Tomorrow is the birthday of one of my BFF's, and this is the card I made to celebrate the occasion.  I love the Epic Day suite of products for a "guy card". I hope he does, too! And yes I am sure the card was received already because I hand delivered it!

I'd already had a color scheme in mind, but I was lacking an inspiration for the layout. Retro Sketches had the perfect one! This sketch was crying out for Washi Tape!

No complicated directions are necessary today. The background paper is DSP with just a smattering of grunge. Washi Tape: peel and stick. A few chevrons were easily created using the Chevron Border Punch. A button, some linen thread, and you're done!

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Gorgeous Grunge, Hey There (from My Paper Pumpkin Kit)
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Basic Gray, Calypso Coral
Designer Series Paper: Epic Day This & That
Ink Pads: Basic Gray
Tools: Chevron Border Punch
Accessories: Epic Day This & That Washi Tape, Linen Thread, Silver Basics Buttons

Have a Wonderful Wednesday!

  2. Sandy, This card is really great - it's right up his alley. Perfect color selection - and with added chevrons? He'll adore it - as do I.
