Gallery of Cards for OWH

Happy Friday! It's nice to be upon another weekend already! Last weekend I spent some time going through my ginormous stash of cards and selecting a bunch of them (80 to be exact) to ship off to Operation Write Home. I just got the package off in the mail. I'm sure many of you know all about Operation Write Home and are already making contributions. For those that don't, OWH is a volunteer organization that collects and distributes hand made cards for active service members to write home with. You can also address a card to an unknown service member, to thank them for their service. To learn more about OWH, click here.

I don't have a new project to share with you today, but I thought you might enjoy seeing a few of the cards I sent off. Just about all of them use products that are now retired, but maybe you'll find inspiration in a color scheme or layout. Or maybe you'll be inspired to send off some cards of your own!

Thanks for visiting and have an awesome day!

Beautiful cards, Sandy. What a wonderful way to contribute to our soldiers and their loved ones who also sacrifice.

I also make cards for OWH. Last year I sent 275! I have to do 24 hours of volunteer work for my job and this qualifies, so I get to do something I love for a good cause. Way to go!
