Kind & Cozy, PPA168 & DD66

Hello there, friends :) Can I bore you for a moment with a non stamping related subject? Yesterday DH and I went shopping for a new front door, which is sorely needed and we want to replace before the winter rolls in. I thought I had an idea of what I wanted. Can I tell you there are a billion doors to choose from? Half panels, full panels, split panels, side panels, a million options for the glass, a million options for the material and hardware... I was lost! I renovated my entire kitchen a couple years back and those numerous decisions weren't this hard. I walked away empty handed because I was too overwhelmed. Suggestions are welcome...

I tossed the door catalog aside and went to safe territory, my stamps, my happy place! Two challenges later my thoughts were elsewhere.

I love Black Tie week at Dynamic Duos. It seems nearly any color you mix with black and white look awesome together. But Pool Party? Had to play along! Oh and there is a Dessert Option of embossing. I can never skip dessert!
As always I went in search of a sketch and landed at Pals Paper Arts. Colors and sketch in hand, I found a stamp set that I thought would look cute with the combo, Kind & Cozy.

The gingham circle was stamped in Basic Black and cut with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch. The greeting was colored with markers, as was the tea cup. The little heart was stamped with Pool Party and punched with the small heart punch. Easy and fun!

Loooooove this....might just have to CASE it myself! Can't help you on the door. I get a case of hives just thinking about decisions like that!

I'm not able to give advice about doors, either, but I can say this is an aDOORable card. Ba-dum-dum. This is a sweet card for this color combination. Very nice, Sandy!

I LOVE this stamp set and have had it on my wish list but was afraid I wouldn't be able to do use it well--I hate it when that happens with stamps...:oS This card is just delightful (yuk yuk, Brian!).

As for the doors and too many options, I ran into that trying to buy toothpaste the other day. I couldn't find my usual brand and had to go with something else and holy smokes!! Tarjay devotes an entire AISLE to it!!!! Talk about overload! And, it was only for toothpaste! I can't imagine trying to decide on doors! Yikes!

I hope you'll share when you finally decide. :o)

This is so pretty! Love it to pieces- stamping-our safe place! Usually, my Type A+ husband says he does me favors by just doing these things like buying the door, bringing home a new van, or such. After my initial shock and steam coming from my ears, I realize SOMETIMES he does do me a favor when there are so many decisions to make for just a door. LOL! And, most often, he chooses wisely, and I am blessed:)
