Fun with Washi Tape, Part One

Greetings, Stampers! Last night my stamp class met and the evening was spent creating simple projects with Washi Tape. This card was one of the projects we made, and was taken right from the What to Washi online class and bundle from Stampin' Up. This a note card, 5" x 3 1/2". A package of 20 note cards is included in the bundle. I love the bright colors, patterns and simplicity of this card. I added a little bling by including rhinestones colored with Sharpies.

Another project we made was these cute little votive candles. A project can't be any simpler than this. Just wrap the candle with three strips of coordinating Washi Tape and tie a bow around it. The bonus here is that as the candle begins to burn down, the light shines through the translucent Washi tape. Love it!
