Hello, Stampers! I have some summery, fun scrapbook pages to share with you today that we'll be making in my August Scrapbook Class. I entitled these ice cream themed pages Sweet Summer, but they just as easily could be used for a birthday, Sweet Sixteen, or even Sweet Friends. The first page of this layout is cased from a page done by my fellow demonstrator, Ashley Marostica. I loved her layout so much that I changed very little.
Did you ever regret not having purchased something that is no longer available? Me too, and when it later shows up on a clearance rack I'm thrilled. The Sweet Shop DSP used to make these pages is long retired, but I pounced on it when I saw it appear on the Stampin' Up Clearance Rack a few months ago.
The second page of the layout leaves lots of room for photos and journaling.
The big ice cream cone with sprinkles was made with two stamp sets and coordinating punches.
The banner in the top right corner was created by punching circles with a 1 1/2" circle punch and cutting them in half. I love all the fun patterns in this paper, especially the ice cream cones!
